Controversial Dieting Tip: Ditch the Protein Shake for Better Results

 I used to start every morning with a nice protein shake. ⁣You know, gotta get that protein in. 💪🏽⁣

Protein is the most important macronutrient while dieting, but throw these shakes out the window. ⁣

One, they usually aren’t very good and you’ll have to add quite a few other ingredients to them so they don’t taste like hot garbage – increasing the calories significantly.⁣

Two, drinking your calories on a diet is just a terrible idea. A shake is going to leave you way hungrier than if you actually ate those calories. Think about eating a bowl of protein oatmeal, compared to a shake. The more volume a meal has, the longer you’ll go without feeling hungry. ⁣

The less hungry you are throughout the day, the more likely you are to avoid eating the entire bowl of candy in the break room. ⁣

So save your money and drop the protein shakes. Your tastebuds will thank me. ⁣
